Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment to Accessibility

FIX Restoration is committed to ensuring that everyone who visits this website can access the information they need, including homeowners dealing with water damage, fire loss, or mold concerns who may be navigating this site under stressful circumstances and on a wide range of devices and assistive technologies.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as our baseline standard. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, voice control software, or other assistive tools.

What We’ve Built For

This site is designed with screen-reader compatibility in mind. That means meaningful alt text on images, logical heading structure, sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds, and form fields that are properly labeled so assistive technology can interpret them correctly. Navigation is intended to be operable by keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse.

We also aim to avoid content that flashes or strobes in ways that could trigger photosensitive responses, and we work to keep page layouts clean and predictable so that users relying on zoom or magnification tools can move through content without losing context.

Known Limitations and Ongoing Work

Accessibility is not a one-time checkbox, it requires ongoing attention as content is updated and new pages are added. While we make every reasonable effort to maintain WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across the site, there may be areas where we fall short. Third-party tools or embedded content (such as mapping widgets or scheduling integrations) may not be fully within our control, and those components may not meet the same standard as the pages we build and maintain directly.

When we become aware of an accessibility gap, we are committed to addressing it within a reasonable timeframe.
